Dakota Meyer was on Letterman last night, they showed this pic, already blogged about here a few time.  (Thanks guys).  Very cool image.  What a story and person.  Apparently when asked by Obama’s press secretary if he had anything he wanted to say to the President after he was told Obama was going to contact him regard the medal, Meyer asked, “does he want to have a beer?”  Sometime after they recontacted him and said be here at 5:30 onThursday.   And here we have this, as Letterman put it, “unprecedented photo”. beeriety: PHOTO OF THE DAY: President Obama enjoys a beer with Dakota Meyer on the patio outside of the Oval Office on Wednesday.
